ABOUT CHRISTOPHER

Christopher Newberry is an award-winning UK based filmmaker whose films have screened all over the world. In March 2024, his debut feature film, Retreat, will have it’s world premiere at the prestigious Cinequest in San Jose, California.

His latest short, Who Am I?, a 16mm production, played at leading genre festival, FrightFest, and had its world premiere at the renowned Leicester Square cinema, Prince Charles Theatre.

Christopher is already developing his next two feature films, Tulip (a thriller) and an untitled horror film.

Aware that it’s an honour and a privilege to make films, Christopher places great emphasis on the atmosphere on his film sets and the equality – and quality – of his crew.

His film sets are always professional but are also a celebration of the dreams and stories that he and his collaborative crew get to bring alive each and every shooting day. He believes there is a direct correlation between the atmosphere on set to the quality seen in the final production.

In addition to making films, Christopher is also a movie obsessive who loves watching, reading and talking films, almost as much as he loves making them.
